One PDF per range, or one PDF per page
Each range becomes its own document with the selected pages copied in order. When more than one file is produced, the results are bundled in a ZIP.

Each page of a scanned document must become its own file.
The ZIP contains page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf and so on, one for each page.
Password-protected PDFs cannot be split until they are unlocked. The tool reports the problem instead of producing an empty document.
A page number above the page count is rejected. Check the page count shown after the file loads.
